This malvasia bears the name of the man who is the foundation of our winery – Nono Konstantin. His story began in 1949 when, at just 10 years old, he inherited his late father’s vineyards in the heart of Istria. With vision, passion, and tireless dedication, he elevated the family winemaking tradition to a new level, passing on his knowledge and love for the land to future generations.

FORMATION
Vinification in the pursuit of perfection
Hand-harvested grapes from the oldest vines undergo strict selection to ensure premium quality. After a five-day cold maceration, fermentation takes place under precise control, allowing the wine to develop its layers and character.
Aged malvasia is then aged in oak barrels on fine lees, gradually developing creaminess, depth, and a sophisticated aromatic profile. Patience is key – years of maturation bring a perfect balance of fruit and spice notes, creating a wine that stays true to the authenticity of its terroir.

Konstantin 2021 embodies richness and elegance, unfolding in layers of ripe white peach and apricot aromas, enhanced by sage, salted butter, and delicate vanilla. Subtle hints of white pepper and coastal minerals add to its complexity.
